This is a wonderful, before dinner dip. It consists of nuts and herbs and is ultra healthy. Serve with warm bread, dip bread in olive oil and then into the dukka.
I love a good crusty french bread, and this one is not too bad at all. Lately I have been on a baking frenzy and cooking these every second day. I am sure I will get sick of them soon enough.
I LOVE museli. Its such a good hearty breakfast, but the problem is all the shopbought stuff is high in sugar and very expensive. My mum used to make homemade museli, which I totally hated growing up, but she didn’t toast it. I personally find it much nicer when it is crunchy, and it is one of those things you can add anything that catches your fancy.
Chai is an experience rather than a food or a drink. The Indians, from India, drink gallons of it and cannot start the day without it. A wonderful aroma pervades the kitchen whilst it is being prepared and to partake of it is just an assailing of the senses.
